Timberland Abington Logger’s Boot

For Fall 2011, Timberland takes inspiration from New England farmers and loggers of the era, creating new Abington styles that merge modern styling with the brand’s long history of quality craftsmanship for the outdoors. Perhaps the most distinctive new shoe in the Fall 2011 line is the Abington Logger’s Boot. Inspiration for this tall 9-eye boot comes directly from footwear worn by the New England loggers in the late 1800s. These rugged, hardworking river drivers cleared dense forests and often wore out the soles of their boots as they scraped along the bark of hemlock trees. The Logger’s Boot features a thick lug sole for traction and performance in the most rugged conditions.
